Fran hails from the Isle of Man and came to faith at age 16 after a year of soul searching following the loss of a Parent. She trained as a Nurse in Liverpool, moved into Health Visiting and Community Nursing, then into the third sector managing a befriending charity for older people and later set up and ran her own Home Care business.
Along with her husband Dave, Fran planted a Church in her local town and later trained for ordination at St Mellitus North West and was ordained as a Pioneer Minister. Together they ran a Parish Church in Rochdale on a large council estate where they were tasked with Pioneering a new Church to run parallel with the existing traditional congregation.
They moved back to the Isle of Man after losing their daughter and have for the past three years been part of a team running a Christian Retreat House alongside ministry in a Church that was planted in a pub 30 years ago. She is currently supporting a young couple in planting a new Church. Fran enjoys starting new things, loves travelling, sings in a choir and likes to keep fit at the Gym.
