Stephanie began her academic career as a tutor in Middle English at York University and then worked for 14 years as an academic skills tutor at the University of Canterbury in New Zealand before returning to the UK in 2015. Her passion is teaching people to communicate in good, clear English, but she also enjoys history, gardening, sewing and cooking. She is married to John, who’s ordained, so she has been a clergy spouse for quite a while.
